KSS (Key Safety Systems), a global engineering, manufacturer, and supplier of safety components and systems, has selected Manpower Business Solutions (MBS) to provide RPO services in an effort to standardize hiring processes for its engineering and manufacturing facilities in nine countries.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

In one of the largest recruitment process outsourcing deals ever, car rental giant Hertz has signed a five-year global RPO deal with providers CDI and Spherion that would eventually cover the hiring of thousands of employees worldwide. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Futurestep, a Korn/Ferry Company (NYSE: KFY), today announced the opening of its newest research center in Shanghai, China. For Futurestep’s global and Asia Pacific RPO clients, the center will provide crucial services, including research, name generation, sourcing and screening, market mapping, competitive intelligence, and in-time outsourced recruitment administration.

RPO provider Kenexa has acquired London-based Quorum International, an RPO provider RPO that has served multi-national corporations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for nearly 10 years. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS), a global provider of recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) solutions, has acquired Capital Consulting, an RPO player operating in Europe and Asia Pacific. Terms of the deal were not released.

The deal brings together two large European players in the high-growth recruitment outsourcing market and follows the £100m management buy-out in December of AMS. The buyout had been led by CEO Rosaleen Blair and backed by private equity firm Graphite Capital.

RPO provider Kenexa said it has won two contracts from the European Personnel Selection Office, which organizes the recruitment of European Union officials, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The first of the three-year contracts with the Brussels-based agency is for development of multiple-choice verbal and non-verbal reasoning questions for applicant screening tests. The other calls for a testing database for jobs in human resources, accounting management, information and communications technology, and other areas. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The HROA has issued its final criteria for the 2008 HROA Awards. Nominees and award winners will be honored at the Fourth Annual HROA Awards Gala in New York on April 16, 2008 at the New York Hilton & Towers in conjunction with HRO World New York.  
 

Wayne, PA-based Kenexa, a provider of talent acquisition and retention solutions, has acquired Germany-based HRC Human Resources Consulting GmbH. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Munich, HRC Human Resources Consulting GmbH (HRC) is a consultant for business-orientated employee surveys in German-speaking countries. The acquisition of HRC will provide additional proprietary content to Kenexa’s current survey and performance management offering. It also expands Kenexa’s geographical reach in mainland Europe, a key growth area.
