Staples Advantage launched a new division, Staples Technology Solutions, to accommodate the growing number of SMEs seeking outsourced IT solutions.

Organizations want to reduce the complexity of multi-vendor solutions by relying on trusted, single source suppliers like Staples Technology Solutions that combine real world know-how with a wide array of technology solutions and services."
 
Staples Technology Solutions will deliver managed services, including on-site and remote server and desktop support, printing solutions, data center assessments and solutions, and certified technology specialists. The new division is set up to provide a full IT department to SMEs.
 
Staples Technology Solutions is the result of two acquisitions: Thrive Networks, a tech consulting firm, in 2006, and Corporate Express, a European office supplier to businesses, in 2008. IT outsourcing will be by contract and through monthly fees.
