Claus-Peter Sommer has been named vice president and business unit leader for the recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) practice in Kelly’s Outsourcing and Consulting Group (OCG), a division of Kelly Services, Inc. Kelly is a provider of human resources solutions with global headquarters in Troy, MI.

Sommer is responsible for the leadership and direction of the RPO practice, a high-growth business unit in Kelly’s global outsourcing and consulting division. Kelly has been providing RPO services since 1995, creating an extensive range of solutions to manage internal hiring needs from customized hiring projects to end-to-end recruitment process outsourcing.

Sommer co-founded access AG, a recruiting service provider based in Cologne, Germany, that became part of Kelly Services Otusourcing & Consulting Group in October 2007. Since 1991, access has been providing more than 150 of the 200 top employers with recruiting events, search & selection and RPO services. Together, access AG and Kelly OCG represent a strong international network for recruitment services.

In 2008 access AG and Kelly OCG merged their RPO activities and formed the Center of Excellence (CoE) for RPO, which is based in Geneva. The primary goal of the CoE is to enhance service delivery, develop state-of-the-art process models for customers, and achieve best-in-class performance through strong KPI management.
